Romanien Cheese Pie or "plăcintă", is a layered pastry that can be savory or sweet, and is made with cheese and dough is a popular dish in Romanian Cuisine, it is made with different type of cheese, it can be: cheddar, mozarella, blue cheese, parmesan either cow cheese, sheep or goat, in this recipe i present the pie with cow cheese, a specific kind of cheese in east europe, it is called sweet cheese. Cheese pie can be prepared as well as dessert, but then we will not add salt and dill in cheese filling, and we will add sugar as we like. A round, fried pie made with ricotta or other cheeses, plăcintă is a popular snack or side dish in Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine. A traditional Easter dessert made with a sweet cheese filling, such as farmer's cheese, cottage cheese, or ricotta. The filling can also include grated apples, walnuts, and cinnamon. The tradition of layering pies dates back to ancient Rome and Greece. The Romans adapted the plakon into a bread dish called placenta, which was baked on bay leaves
